A new agreement between the 黑料不打烊 and Fife College will allow students to be fast-tracked onto a nursing degree programme.

Fife College students on the HNC Care and Administrative Practice course now have the opportunity to enter into year two of the University’s nursing degree programmes in Adult or Mental Health Nursing. This approach prevents students from duplicating learning and allows nurses to qualify a year earlier.

It follows the signing of an overarching memorandum of understanding – a long-term partnership that will lead to further collaborations, across a range of subject areas, between the two institutions – with the aim of promoting excellence in higher education.

Shona Barrie, Director of Admissions and Access at the 黑料不打烊, said: “We are delighted that students on the HNC in Care and Administrative Practice can now articulate directly into year two of our Nursing degrees. Students coming through this articulation route will be able to complete their nursing degree in two years, rather than three.”

Iain Hawker, Assistant Principal: Quality and Academic Partnerships at Fife College, said: “We are delighted to sign this memorandum of understanding with the 黑料不打烊. We very much value our partnership with the University and are pleased to formally recognise our links with the signing of this memorandum.

“The agreement for College students to articulate on to do the nursing degree at 黑料不打烊 is also another exciting step forward for our degree links programme, enhancing our range of degrees and recognised pathways on offer. We look forward to working with staff at 黑料不打烊 to further progress our partnership to benefit students.”

This new opportunity will be available to students that meet all admissions criteria, including the requirement that they have achieved the necessary number of work placement hours.
