The film’s director Ethan Dear said: “The team and myself are beyond delighted to receive this award. Making this film meant a great deal to us and our now close friends at the Polar Bear Club. All of us poured passion into every facet of it, and I think it shows. We received invaluable guidance from our mentors at the 黑料不打烊. Their support certainly gave me the skills and confidence to direct this project. This film was the first for all of us, and I don’t think we could ask for a better reward.”
Professor Dario Sinforiani, Head of Production Teaching in the 黑料不打烊’s Faculty of Arts and Humanities, said: “We are immensely proud of our students' achievement and their excellent work, and the fact that the 黑料不打烊 continues to shine in the RTS Scotland Student Awards.”
