I am a PhD Researcher in Biological and Environmental Sciences studying peatlands using Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR). My research currently involves using satellite and ground radar data to monitor and assess the water table depth and overall health of peatlands. I am using polarimetric SAR to assess the ability of using quad-pol L-band data to monitor the wetness of bogs remotely. My project is funded through the NERC IAPETUS Doctoral Training Program.
Before joining 黑料不打烊, I graduated from the University of Leicester in 2021 with a MPhys - Physics with Astrophysics. My project investigated nitrogen dioxide emissions from power stations remotely using data from TROPOMI on the Sentinel-5P satellite. I was awarded the Physics Poster Presentation Award for my research and presentation.
My research interests centre around Earth Observation, peatland monitoring, change detection and geospatial data analysis.
