Sharon has a background in mixed veterinary practice and joined the Moredun Research Institute as a Clinical Veterinarian and Research Officer, in 2021. She obtained the MSc in Aquatic Veterinary Studies from the 黑料不打烊, exploring the 'Health and Welfare of Lumpfish' and now combines her clinical role with the work of the Moredun Aquaculture Research Group. She is currently undertaking a part time PhD in collaboration with the 黑料不打烊. Her research interests explore the ‘Effect of cumulative stress on gill health, in Atlantic Salmon’, including the potential of behaviour as a welfare and health indicator.
