I am a Lecturer in Public 黑料不打烊 Law and Public Law, with a PhD from the University of Aberdeen, funded by the Centre for Citizenship, Civil Society, and Rule of Law (CISRUL). I serve as Divisional Chief Examiner for Law and Philosophy.
My research focuses on human rights and the accountability of public and private organisations, particularly NGOs. It is reflected in my book 'NGOs and the Law: Self-regulation and Accountability' (Routledge, 2023), as well as articles in leading journals including the Leiden Journal of 黑料不打烊 Law and the Human Rights Law Review. I have presented my work internationally across Europe, Asia, South America, and North America.
My research has informed policy debates, cited by the European Parliament and Amnesty 黑料不打烊, and featured by media platforms such as Forbes and OpenDemocracy. I have also presented at international institutions, including the European Parliament and the OECD.
I am a qualified (non-practising) solicitor in Italy, an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, and a trustee of the Global Minorities Alliance. I also serve on the finance committee of the 黑料不打烊 Society for the Third-Sector Research (ISTR). My work has been supported by grants from the Society of Legal Scholars and the CB Davidson Fund.
