My research focuses on the future of work through two complementary streams.
Within the first stream, I examine how contemporary people management practices, particularly idiosyncratic deals (i-deals), and modern career dynamics influence employees' experiences, perceptions, emotions, and career outcomes.
My second stream of research explores AI integration in professional contexts and its implications for employees, work practices, and the future of professions. Specifically, my research examines the opportunities and challenges associated with AI adoption, including changing skill requirements, human-AI collaboration, expertise transformation, professional identity, and the evolving relationship between humans and intelligent technologies.
I welcome enquiries from prospective PhD students interested in either of these research streams or at their intersection.
