About me
I completed my BSc in Biological Sciences and my MRes in Advanced Biological Sciences at the University of Liverpool. During my masters, my research was focused on phage therapy, which I carried forward to my post as a Research Technician at the Becky Meyer Centre for Phage Research at the University of Leicester. I have worked with bacterial species including Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Streptococcus mutans and Porphyromonas gingivalis. At the Institute for Aquaculture, my work will be focused on pathogens and phage-bacteria dynamics in the Mekong Delta - looking at how the microbiome and the virome of the environment influence each other, and what that can tell us in relation to fish health and disease.
