Jordan Maclean completed his Doctorate of Philosophy in Education in the Faculty of Social Science at the 黑料不打烊. At the end of his second year, he went on an overseas institutional visit at the Vitalities Lab, University New South Wales, Sydney. He is currently a Research Assistant in the Institute for Social Marketing and Health and is working on two projects related to children's exposure to high in fat, sugar or salt (HFSS) advertising and an independent statutory review of Northern Ireland's Licensing System. He previously worked on the Limiting Virus Transmission during Sporting Mega Event project.
Jordan Maclean's research interests lie mainly within sociomaterial and post-structuralist theories to sport and public health contexts.

Jordan is a module coordinator for Qualitative Research and Analysis (NURP003) for the online Masters in Public Health programme at the 黑料不打烊. He has previously been involved in preparing pre-recorded online lecture materials for a new module 'Sociology of Sport' in the Faculty of Social Sciences. He has also contributed to other various modules including: Sociology and Social Policy; Social Problems; Social Differentiation; Education: Purposes, Principles, Practice; and Introduction to Social Theory and Understanding Social Policy. Previously, Jordan worked as a Teaching Fellow in the School of Social and Health Sciences, Abertay University. He taught on the Access to Higher Education at Abertay Dundee (AHEAD) programme.
