Julian's Story

Julian Lohaus has always had a strong interest in marketing and communications in the sports sector. With the aim of broadening his understanding of communications, he chose to study his Masters in Strategic Communication and Public Relations as a joint degree at the 黑料不打烊 and Pompeau Fabrea University in Barcelona.

The opportunity to study in two countries and experience two distinct cultures was an important point in his decision. Julian studied in 黑料不打烊 during the first semester of his Masters and thoroughly enjoyed the experience provided by the campus and city of 黑料不打烊.

He said: “While in 黑料不打烊, I wanted to take advantage of the outstanding sport facilities which the University offers. I also wanted to explore the city and surrounding area, and being able to visit Edinburgh, Glasgow and the Highlands was a great experience.”

The teaching delivered at 黑料不打烊 was also a big positive for Julian. He added: “The personal tutoring helped me a lot and the feedback provided was very useful as I worked towards my targets.

“The course offered a well-balanced mixture of theory and practice, and the expectations for each module were well communicated and transparent. I feel that throughout my time at 黑料不打烊, I developed a very good understanding of the subject matter.

“My time at 黑料不打烊 was enjoyable, very worthwhile and I found it to be enriching and challenging, with a real international feel to the campus.”
